Guitar Strap

The basic function of a guitar strap is to hold the instrument in order to free up the hands for playing. It is generally connected at the base of the guitar, goes around the shoulder of the player, and then connects to the top of the guitar body. While not required, they make playing the instrument much easier.

A guitar strap doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Many guitar players are perfectly content using an inexpensive, simple strap. For the more adventurous however, there are other options.

A guitar strap can say a lot about the player. Straps can be designed around just about any theme, including musical tastes, religion, and time period. Many people will make their own unique strap by decorating a blank version.
